Research Writing Groups

Build accountability and community while staying on-track with your writing goals this quarter.

Research Writing Group program details:

• Awards provide $25 gift cards to participants who attend a majority of scheduled meetings during the quarter
• Groups agree to meet at least five times over the quarter (in person or on Zoom)
• Participants may join more than one writing group, but are eligible for only one gift card per quarter
• Groups may re-apply each quarter, as long as program guidelines are met successfully
• Conveners agree to track attendance and provide a short report at the end of the quarter
• Minimum group size is four scholars
• Writing Group Awards are not designed to overlap or conflict with existing seminars or courses for the participants.

Participants

• Conveners – CHASS Faculty or Graduate Students
• At least half the group must be CHASS scholars
