- Research announcements
- Project or publication “launch” events with in depth discussion
- Lightning Happy Hours
Eligible projects include current (or recently completed):
- grant projects or research programs
- book publications
- findings or outcomes from recently concluded grant projects or initiatives
- and other forms of new scholarship and creative work in CHASS
How to Participate
Research Announcements
Share links and announcements of your new publications, exhibits, grant reports, or other milestones and we will post the information on our CHASS email newsletter and social media channels.
Project or publication “launch” events
Hosted events with authors and scholars for a deeper dive into the scholarly process and the research behind the project or publication. Suitable for new publications, grant projects, project outcomes and similar research milestones.
Lightning Talk Happy Hours
Short (5-7 minute) research presentations, drinks, and conversation at the UCR Stable. Presentations may include new projects, new aspects of ongoing projects, or an introduction to your new research interests. Lightning Talk Happy Hours will be hosted in winter or spring quarters, depending on schedules and interest.
