Stay on-track with your writing goals and be productive this quarter through remote Writing Groups! Peer writing groups can provide much needed accountability and support during times of stress and isolation.

Research Writing Group program details (revised Spring 2025):

• Awards provide $25 gift cards to participants who attend a majority of scheduled meetings during the quarter
• Groups agree to meet at least five times over the quarter (in person or on Zoom)
• Participants may join more than one writing group, but are eligible for only one gift card per quarter
• Groups may re-apply each quarter, as long as program guidelines are met successfully
• Conveners agree to track attendance and provide a short report at the end of the quarter

Participants

• Conveners – CHASS Faculty or Graduate Students
• At least half the group must be CHASS scholars
• Up to 50% of the group may come from other UCR departments
