Kim Fortun is the author of Advocacy After Bhopal: Environmentalism, Disaster, New Global Orders (University of Chicago Press, 2001). It was awarded the 2003, biannual Sharon Stephens Prize by the American Ethnological Society. She is Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The STS Methods series tracks methods by which we surface and elucidate sociotechnical objects, systems, networks, infrastructures, and things.
