Marla Bingham

(Mashpee Wampanoag)

Marla Bingham has performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and Jennifer Muller and The Works.  She performed with Yul Brynner in “The King and I” on national tour and on Broadway.  She has choreographed for the American Indian Dance Theatre, the Joffrey Concert Group and Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theatre to name a few, as well as Disneyland’s “The Spirit of Pocahontas” and numerous music videos and TV commercials. Marla created her own troupe in 1996, the Marla Bingham Contemporary Ballet, based in Los Angeles.
